Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing a variety of Human Resource related functions including retirement plan & payroll administration, as well as supporting general HR policy administration and employee relations. This role ensures accurate and compliant retirement plan administration and supports employees with related inquiries.
Primary Duties/Responsibilites: Retirement Plan Administration; Administer aspects of Bank Profit Sharing & 401(k) Plan, including: Participant eligibility and enrollment; Contribution processing and allocation; Distributions, loans, and rollovers; Ensure compliance with plan documents, company policies, and applicable federal and state regulations (ERISA, IRS, DOL); Serve as the primary liaison with the plan recordkeeper options, plan updates, and participant communications; Partner with the internal Trust department on investment options, plan updates, and participant communications; Support annual plan activities such as audits, nondiscrimination testing, and requires filings; Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to plan activity; Respond to employee inquiries and provide clear, timely guidance on retirement benefits and other related matters; Maintain benefit data integrity in HRIS and vendor systems. Payroll & HR Related Duties ; Process assigned payrolls ensuring accuracy and timeliness; Review and audit payrolls prepared by others to ensure compliance and correctness; Acts as a point of contact for employees, management, and HR business customers, addressing inquiries and providing information; Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll & HR related data.
Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll, or related field; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; strong organizational & time management skills; Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information; Exceptional communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills; Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime when necessary; Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
