Vault Teller

Job Summary:  Maintains money shipments, vault cash, accepts and sells cash to Teller staff.

Primary Duties /Responsibilities: Verify money received or sent for deposit in the vault. Buy and sell money to tellers; Approve change order for tellers; Process daily teller transactions, including cash, checks, deposits, savings withdrawals, transfer, and loan payments. Process commercial checking and savings deposits and withdrawals; Buy and sell foreign currency.
Balance the vault on a daily basis and maintain cash limits; Assist in the bank-by-mail function, night drop bags; Coordinate ordering of money needed for the day-to-day transactions at each branch; Order and ship money to the Fed; Prepare money for off-site ATM use. 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Three years of Banking experience, preferably in Teller Services or experience working with high volume of cash; Excellent communication, customer service, and problem resolution skills; Ability to work independently with sound decision-making ability; Reliable attendance.
Ability to perform responsibilities safely and effectively; may frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; Good interpersonal communication skills, as well as good mathematical, organizational, and proficient computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment.
