Branch Manager – Mountain Plaza Office
Job Summary: The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership,
management, and performance of the branch. This position leads daily branch
operations, develops and supports branch employees, delivers exceptional
customer service, builds strong client and community relationships, supports
business development and product growth, and participates in consumer lending
activities. This position also provides staff coverage and operational support
as needed to ensure effective branch operations.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities: Lead and manage the daily operations of the
branch, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of branch services and
consistently high standards of customer service; Recruit, train, schedule,
coach, mentor, and evaluate branch employees; foster employee development; and
provide leadership that supports a high-performing, engaged team; Build and
maintain strong client and community relationships through exceptional service,
networking, community involvement, and business development activities; Identify
client needs and recommend appropriate Bank products and services, including
commercial and consumer loans, online and mobile banking, treasury services,
trust and wealth management, payroll and benefit administration, and other Bank
offerings; Develop and grow a profitable consumer lending client base by
identifying lending opportunities, recommending appropriate loan products, and
participating in underwriting, approval, documentation, and portfolio management
in accordance with Bank policies and procedures; Drive branch growth by
developing new relationships, expanding existing relationships, and achieving
established business development, deposit, lending, and other performance goals;
Interview applicants for branch staff positions and lead or participate in
candidate selection.
Provide operational and customer service coverage as needed to ensure effective
daily branch operations; Ensure branch activities comply with applicable laws,
regulations, Bank policies, and internal controls while identifying and
mitigating operational, lending, and compliance risks; Perform other duties as
assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum four years of related banking or financial services experience; Previous
supervisory or management experience; Banking experience in consumer lending,
teller operations, and new accounts preferred; Demonstrated ability to develop
client relationships, identify client needs, provide exceptional customer
service, and achieve business development and performance goals; Strong
leadership, coaching, communication, decision-making, problem-solving,
organizational, and time-management skills; Ability to energize and motivate
staff and effectively promote Bank products and services; Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, maintain
confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive client and
Bank information; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including
Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience using Fiserv software is a
plus.
